A priced estimate, a construction methodology and an indicative program — for tenders judged on more than the bottom line. From $3,000 ex GST.
Get a fixed quoteOn a lot of tenders — government work, developer panels, anything with a weighted evaluation — the number is only part of the assessment. The panel also wants to see that you understand how the job gets built, in what order, and how long it takes. Builders lose winnable tenders by submitting a sharp price with a thin submission behind it.
The pre-tender package covers all three parts.
A full measured bill with rates applied, built up from labour, material, plant and margin rather than a single all-in figure. You see the build-up, so you can adjust rates to your own subcontractor pricing before submitting.
A written statement of how the works will be executed: site establishment and access, sequencing logic, temporary works, craneage and material handling, site constraints and how they will be managed, and interfaces with adjoining property or public domain. Written to be read by an evaluator, not padded to hit a page count.
A programme showing the major activities, durations, sequence and critical path, with the assumptions stated. Enough to demonstrate that your duration is reasoned rather than guessed.
Fees run from $3,000 to around $6,000 ex GST. The range reflects project value and complexity, how complete the tender documents are, how many alternatives or options need pricing, and whether the evaluation criteria demand a longer methodology. You get the exact figure before anything starts.
Send the documents and the closing date. If the timeframe is tight, you'll get a straight answer about whether it can be done properly rather than an optimistic yes.
